Hilary Greene, MS, LMFT
My goal as a therapist is to guide clients in the exploration of themselves and their lives, within a safe and nurturing environment without judgement, and to help clients create the positive changes they desire.
For self-care, I try to take time daily to practice mindfulness and go for walks outside whenever the weather is nice. I also energize myself by spending time Up North at the family cabin, playing fetch with my black lab, chasing my energetic toddler around the house, and making time for relaxation at home with my family.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings including at the office, and in the Elk River District schools.
I often work with children, adolescents, and families who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, reactive attachment disorder, trauma, conflict and anger. I also have experience working with teenagers in residential treatment settings. I have a passion for working with families to help identify and change patterns that have created challenges within the family system.
I have a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Psychology (Minor in Child and Family Studies), both from St. Cloud State University. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with training in Sandtray Therapy and DBT.
